Rule of Thirds in Photography
A key component of Grade 6 Visual Arts in learning about composition. An engaging way was to introduce digital photography. Students were given various objects, they had to create a stil life then photograph it using an IPad following various composition scenarios. Contrast, highlights, shadows and gradation were also part of this unit.
